WELCOME TO PROJECT SALT RUN

WELCOME TO PROJECT SALT RUN

Hello!

Thanks so much for scanning the QR code, I’m really glad you’re here.

I’m Hannah, a first-time ultrarunner and in October, I’ll be running 100 marathons in 100 days across India.

Why?
Because a personal search for identity took me back to my dad’s birthplace in Kolkata. That journey led me to discover a forgotten 4,000km+ hedge once part of the Inland Customs Line, a colonial border created by the East India Company to control trade and movement across India.

It’s a story most people have never heard of, including me, until a decade ago. Since then, I’ve traced the route using a 19th-century map from the British Library and now I’m planning to run its full length.

This isn’t just about running. It’s about using movement as a message to raise £1 million for 1% for the Planet, support real environmental solutions and inspire positive change in how businesses impact people and planet.

Please consider doing one of the following:

Thanks for being amazing and taking an interest in what we are doing!
